Enemy / friendly gyms

Enemy gyms are owned by rival teams. You can lower the rival gym's prestige by beating the defenders of the gym. Once the prestige of the gym reaches 0, the rival team moves out from there, and you and your team can occupy the gym

Friendly gyms are controlled by a team you belong. You can do 'training' at friendly gyms to gain XP and increase the gym's prestige.

Taking over a gym

Charge moves requires energy bar to use. The number of energy bar needed depends on each special move.

Training

  • You can do training in gyms owned by your team.
  • You pick the one of your Pokemon for training.
  • The defender you defeated stays at the gym.
  • Your Pokemon do not be fainted, even if it is defeated. However, the HP of your Pokemon is 1.

Gyms' level

  • To increase gym's level, prestige is needed.
  • The number of available slots for defenders is based on the level of the gym.
  • You can own gyms with level 0.

Prestige

  • Rival gyms
  1. You can decrease rival gyms' level by defeating at least one defender of the gym.
  2. Once prestige lowers to 0, the gym is available to be owned by others.
  • Friendly gyms
    Prestige can be gained by training.
