As you can throw Pokeball to capture wild Pokemon by swiping, Pokemon Go can be enjoyed one-handed. Here is how to control map view by tapping and swiping with one hand.

1. Double tap a point on the map
Tap two times on the map display.
2. See blue circle
Blue circle appears at the point you tapped two times.
3. Swiping up to zoom out
To move out the map view, swipe up while the blue circle displayed.
4. Double tap again to zoom in
Now your map view is zoom out. To zoom in, tap the screen two times. Now you see blue circle.
5. Swiping down to zoom in
To move in the map view, swipe down while the blue circle showing up.
6. Swipe left or right
To turn map view around, swipe left or right one the screen.
