The error message pops up often when players try to put a Pokemon in a gym or to battle. It does not cause any troubles but make players nervous.

A Pokemon was put right before a player try to do so

If the error happens when you try to put a Pokemon in a friendly gym, the cause of the error may be that someone already put a Pokemon right before you try to do that.

Put your Pokemon immediately if you find a space in the gym.

To prevent the error message from showing, put your Pokemon right after a slot of the gym become available.

The defenders has already been defeated right before you try to battle

The error may happens because the defenders of the gym has already been beaten by others right before your enter the gym.

Re-enter the gym

You do not have to mind the error in that case. You can battle in the gym until the prestige of the gym gets to 0.
